Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager to lead our projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical project management methodologies, including exsperience work in cat A & Cat B D&B enviroments and will have experience with various project management software tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Smartsheet. This role requires excellent leadership capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams while ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
* Conduct requirements gathering sessions to define project scope and objectives.
* Utilise project management software Microsoft Project, to track progress and manage resources effectively.
* Implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
* Perform root cause analysis to identify issues and develop solutions proactively.
* Manage team dynamics through effective team management practices, fostering a collaborative environment.
* Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and outcomes.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation using tools such as SharePoint, and content management systems.
* Analyse data related to project performance using tools like SAS or Visio for informed decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with organisational standards and best practices in project management.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within project management.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
* Proficiency in Electrical Compliance and NICEIC certification.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience with data analysis skills to interpret project metrics and drive improvements.
* Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow for managing service requests related to projects.
* Knowledge of product development processes is advantageous.
