Macgregor Black are partnering with a Well-established gifting brand on the search for a Regional Sales Manager This is a permanent role based in North of England/Scotland.
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will oversee commercial performance across the North of England and Scotland. This is a field-based leadership role responsible for shaping regional strategy, elevating retail execution standards, and developing a motivated team of field-based sales managers. The position requires a mix of strong people leadership, commercial thinking, and the ability to adapt central plans to suit local trading conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, coach and inspire a team of field-based Sales Managers across the North of England and Scotland.
* Deliver regional growth targets by improving distribution, visibility, and execution across multiple retail environments.
* Build customer-focused commercial plans that reflect local market dynamics and shopper behaviour.
* Partner with head-office functions to shape promotional activity, product launches, and in-store initiatives.
* Analyse data, competitor activity and regional trends to inform tactical decisions and identify commercial opportunities.
* Strengthen relationships with key retail partners, wholesalers, and regional decision-makers.
* Ensure consistent delivery of brand standards and operational processes across the region.
What We're Looking For:
* Demonstrable experience leading a multi-site or regional sales team, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods, or a product-led B2C environment.
* Strong understanding of the UK retail landscape, with awareness of regional nuances across northern England and Scotland.
* A leadership style that builds capability, drives accountability and supports continuous development.
* Confidence interpreting commercial data to make evidence-based decisions.
* Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, both internally and externally.
* Flexibility to travel extensively across the region.
