The Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH).
You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to access learning, regulate emotions, and engage positively in the school day.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, including 1:1 and small group work

Assist with classroom activities and the delivery of differentiated learning

Help implement EHCP targets and behaviour management plans

Monitor and record progress, maintaining accurate and confidential notes

Requirements:

Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school, residential, or care settings considered)

Strong understanding of a range of SEN, particularly autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
