MCS Group is supporting a large public sector organization based in Belfast in recruiting a HR Business Coordinator. The role involves:
1. Supporting the Human Resource Manager(s) to manage and report on HR and employee relations issues in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
2. Acting as investigating officer for grievances and disciplinary cases, ensuring investigations follow company policies.
3. Managing HR records related to recruitment, discipline, sickness absence, overtime, and leave; developing reports for senior management.
4. Monitoring and auditing departmental HR performance data, including overtime, agency work, and attendance, and participating in absence management, disciplinary, and grievance cases.
5. Assisting in managing sickness absence, monitoring absence data, and implementing absence policies.
The Person:
Requirements include:
1. A third-level qualification in Business Studies, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
2. Experience working in a unionized environment.
3. Advice and guidance experience in key HR areas.
