The Role
Oversee the delivery of VAT services, assisting clients in minimizing VAT obligations, addressing compliance matters, and providing tax planning counsel.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Gathering data from previous VAT returns and using it to finalize VAT returns.
* Detecting variances in reconciliations, conducting investigations, and offering resolutions.
* Supervising the VAT workflow for a diverse client base.
* Collaborating with the broader JC business to comprehend any VAT-related concerns and offering guidance to resolve them.
* Establishing reliable relationships with clients, representing the firm proficiently.
* Collaborating effectively with the broader tax team to pursue new business prospects and expand the firm's VAT client base, which may involve participation in networking events.
Experience
* Exceptional communication skills, able to positively influence others.
* Previous involvement in a business development context.
* Relevant experience in a practice environment or similar role is vital.
