Field IT Service Engineer
Location: Field based in Willenhall, West Midlands, covering South Wales area
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm plus weekend on a rota basis, 40 hrs p/w (Part Time option available)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer, based in Willenhall, West Midlands, covering South Wales areas.

Must have IT fault finding experience/skills
We are looking for someone motivated, friendly, hands-on, and passionate about delivering excellent service. Your role will include prioritising and providing the best service in terms of new EPOS installations and specialist support as outlined below. You should enjoy working alone or as part of a small team and have great attention to detail.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
1. Installation of new EPOS hardware including data cabling if appropriate
2. Installation and deployment of systems using correct and documented procedures
3. Provide EPOS operational standards advice via telephone, modem, best practice, and/or training
4. Ensure personal availability within defined territories
5. Maintain adequate spares within territories
6. Follow all build and repair processes
7. Keep repair center and vehicles in a clean, workable state
8. Asset track and assign deployed/repaired systems to customers
9. Support non-EPOS PC-based ordering systems
10. Support the Helpdesk team as required
11. Perform general administration duties
12. Communicate observations of potential future IT system issues
Key Skills:
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* Electrical qualification preferred but not essential
* Knowledge of structured data cabling preferred
* Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability
* IT fault finding experience/skills (essential)
