Things are happening and changing at pace here in Children’s Services in Stockton on Tees. There’s lots going on and we have come a long way. We’re seeking ambitious, hardworking and innovative people to join our team.



We are delighted to be seeking School Support Worker to join our evolving School Support Team on a fixed term basis to cover adoption leave. We work in schools delivering bespoke packages of support to children and young people to ensure positive outcomes are achieved. You will hold your own caseload and work on a one to one or small group basis applying a child centred approach to reduce the risk.



This is an exciting time to join us as we continue to hold children at the centre of everything that we do and reinforce our commitment to embedding relationship -based practice.

This is a fixed term contract - the expected duration of the contract is until 31 August 2026 but will be reviewed periodically with the post holder.



As this is a fixed-term post, secondment opportunities will be considered for internal employees. Please obtain prior approval from your current line manager before completing the application. For further information, please refer to the council’s secondment policy.
