Description
The Finance Business Partner will assist the Head of Finance to provide financial analysis and insight which allow the Heads of Business to make decisions and action that will drive the best possible financial outcome in terms of growth in revenue and margin.
The Finance Business Partner will be expected to ensure strong financial controls, produce timely and insightful MI and contribute to the process and adherence of forecasts, budgets and strategic plans.
Core duties will be :
FP&A:
Support the Head of Finance in the execution of the company's financial strategy through insightful financial analysis.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for the UK Leadership Team and Board that translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
Support leadership with ad-hoc financial analysis to assist with effective decision making.
Ensure and improve the financial processes and controls to maintain absolute accuracy of reporting.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead the annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads and senior leadership.
Ensure assumptions used in budgets and forecasts are robust, data-driven, and aligned with strategic business plans.
Review and challenge results regularly in order to seek strategic opportunities.
Ensure detailed knowledge and understanding of local financial results relative to budget and forecast.
Other duties include:
Responsible for producing and maintaining an accurate rolling 8-week cash flow forecast to support treasury with short-term liquidity planning and cash management decisions.
Support the Valuation team by providing operating expense results for new portfolio bids.
Profile
A successful Finance Business Partner should hold:
Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, CPA, CA)
Banking, Debt, or payments industry experience is desirable.
5 years worth of Finance experience.
Experienced in Budgeting and Forecasting.
MI Reporting
Skilled Excel user
Strong Financial Modelling abilities.
Experience of working with senior stakeholders
Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000 per annum.
