Working Team Leader – Protecht Cleaning & Support Services
Protecht Cleaning & Support Services is a family-run business based in Kirkintilloch. We are looking to appoint a dedicated Team Leader to join our expanding team and support the delivery of high-quality cleaning and hygiene services to our valued clients across the UK.
About the Role
This is a hands-on/working supervisory role where you will lead and support team members on-site, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest professional standards. The role will involve working across a variety of customer locations and undertaking a range of tasks, primarily ventilation hygiene, fire damper testing, kitchen deep cleaning, window cleaning, and other specialist services.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising, supporting, and motivating staff on-site
* Ensuring all work is delivered to company and client standards
* Monitoring compliance with health and safety policies
* Assisting with staff training and development where required
* Carrying out cleaning and hygiene tasks alongside the team
* Maintaining clear communication with management and clients
* Working flexibly, including some weekends and hours outside the standard working day
Candidate Requirements
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Strong work ethic and positive, proactive attitude
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of service
* Effective communication and organisational skills
* Willing to complete disclosure checks and site security clearance
* Previous supervisory or team-leading experience (desirable)
* Relevant industry qualifications, such as BESA Grease Hygiene Technician/Operative (advantageous but not essential)
