MHE Trainer
Role Purpose:
Working as part of the Site MHE instructor team to ensure that all training is completed and recorded in line with company policy. Deliver MHE training, including basic and refresher courses such as PPT, CBT, RT, VNA, MEWP, and other equipment, along with FLT battery changing. The role aims to train MHE operators to promote safe working practices and reduce MHE-related incidents.
Typical daily responsibilities include:
1. Delivering training on the FMS system (Fleet Management System) to all MHE staff.
2. Supporting site inductions for MHE/Manual Handling for all FTE and agency staff.
3. Assisting in completing/supporting risk assessments (RA) and safe systems of work (SSOW) with the designated personnel.
4. Providing high-quality technical skills training using various delivery methods.
5. Supporting onsite training buddies to ensure excellent service delivery.
6. Reviewing and updating training content to align with RTITB / ITTSAR standards.
7. Staying updated on changes to RTITB and ITTSAR standards to ensure training remains compliant.
8. Acting as a safety ambassador by regularly conducting behavioural safety audits, demonstrating a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
Leadership capabilities: All roles require some leadership skills, with one or two being critical for success. Allocate 11 points considering critical (3), core (2), and useful (1), with at least 1 point for each capability.

Requirements:
* FLT instructor skills maintained per industry standards.
* Valid accreditation for training to RTITB/ITSSAR standards.
* Experience training within a Distribution Centre.
* Ability to sign off candidates on Reach and Counterbalance Trucks and PPT.
