Your Role
EF Torquay summer school is seeking dedicated and outgoing teachers to join our team for summer 2025. If you are passionate about shaping young minds, adept at engaging diverse groups of students, and committed to fostering cross-cultural understanding, we would love to hear from you.
1. Monday – Friday + Saturday or Sunday
2. Full-time
3. Fixed-term contract from June – August 2025 (minimum three-week commitment)
4. Accommodation and meals on offer in exchange for residence duties

5. Deliver general English and special interest courses
6. Next to planning and teaching classes, you are also responsible for tracking attendance and attending all teacher meetings.
7. Mark students’ work
8. Participate in peer observation programmes
9. Write student reports when required
10. Act as an ambassador for EF
Requirements
11. Available to work in July 2025
12. TEFL qualified
13. Excellent communication skills
14. Sensitive to the needs of international students
15. Confident in teaching teens and young learners
16. Demonstrates a high level of customer service
17. Has strong administrative and organisational skills
18. All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
19. Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment
20. C2 level of English
