About the job:
The agency is looking for a reliable and hard-working Senior Account Executive to join the team. In this role you’ll contribute to the day to day running of key client accounts and ensure deliverables are met and value is achieved for clients. Key responsibilities include:
* Contributing to client and team meetings, writing agendas and actions, liaising and updating clients and senior leadership team on activities
* Help manage, update and execute on multiple comms plans and tactical activation calendars
* Producing activation briefs and working on projects from inception through to delivery and reporting results
* Media relations – pitch ideation, media list creation, pitch draft and outreach plus working with the media relations specialist to elevate pitches to tier one and broadcast
* Monitoring the news, tracking coverage and staying informed on stories relevant to the agency and its clients
* Support with content creation including press releases, articles, social posts, award entries, and speaker submissions
* Track relevant awards and events and manage award and speaker submissions for clients
* Understanding and tracking the client’s key performance indicators and creating quarterly reports for the clients
* Empowering senior leadership team and helping maintain our gold standard client service every day
The ideal candidate:
* Is a Senior Account Executive (or strong AE ready for the next step) with PR agency experience in B2B tech.
* Is a sharp writer who can cut through the tech jargon, with a curious mind that connects the dots and can digest complex and technical information and transform it into story-led content for PR and marketing.
* Has a strong understanding of what good account management looks like – delivering agendas, client contact reports, client emails in a timely and executive-friendly manner.
* Is keen to contribute and can draft compelling content creation – writing examples and test requested during interview process
* Is a proactive self-starter who is organised, process-driven and results focused with a high attention to detail
* Is experienced in using comms tools such as media monitoring, media database, coverage analysis, wire services and reporting – and can learn new tools quickly
* Has some grounding in how to use AI, and can show examples of how it’s supported your previous work.
