Working hours are 7.00am – 9.00am & 3.30pm – 8.00pm, Monday – Friday (32.5 hrs a week) (Term Time Only). Some additional and weekend working will also be required. The salary is £13.11 per hours plus competitive employee benefits.
The role involves maintaining the safety and security of the school site through the operation of physical security systems and processes. Responsibilities include controlling access, monitoring CCTV, carrying out patrols and managing the movement of visitors and contractors.
A visible presence is required across the site, supporting staff and pupils while maintaining a secure and well managed environment. The role also includes supporting day to day operations such as deliveries, visitor parking and school events.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience within a security or similar environment and hold a current SIA licence. A professional and organised approach is essential, along with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting and communicate confidently with people at all levels. A proactive and flexible attitude is required with the ability to respond to changing demands.
