Job Description
We are looking for s detail-oriented and proactive Traffic Operator / Transport Planner to join our team, ensuring the seamless coordination of transport operations. We have a position available for the night shift. Salary negotiable based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
?Scheduling and routing of vehicles to meet customer requirements.
?Ensure drivers have all necessary instructions, and manage real-time adjustments as needed.
?Plan and optimize loads to maximize vehicle efficiency and minimize costs.
?Act as the primary contact for drivers, clients, and internal departments, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the transport process.
?Proactively monitor trips to identify and resolve any operational issues, delays, or disruptions that may arise.
?Ensure that all transport operations comply with relevant transport legislation and company safety policies.
?Maintain accurate records of transport activities, updating the Transport Management System (TMS, TOPS) and producing reports for management as required.
?Liaise with clients to update on delivery statuses, address any queries, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
?Work closely with the Traffic and Operations team to continuously improve operational efficiency and service delivery.Requirements:
