The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedEstimatorwith a proven track record in the construction sector. You will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders for a variety of projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects.
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates.
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
* Work closely with project managers and clients to ensure clarity and accuracy in all estimates.
* Monitor project costs and provide updates as needed.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
