About the School
Bowersgate School, opening September 2026, is a purpose‑built, brand‑new state‑of‑the‑art school catering for up to 72 pupils aged 6‑16 with autism and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Teacher with Witherslack Group, you will work with children and young people who have Autism Spectrum Disorder and other social, emotional and mental health needs. Your tasks include helping them learn, developing their abilities, and raising their self‑esteem. You will support them through challenging moments and celebrate their progress, building strong relationships and a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have previous teaching experience, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and a genuine passion for English. You should have a ‘can do’ attitude, be a team player, and be able to relate the subject to each pupil while building strong relationships in class.
