CNC Operator
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday – Thursday 2:35pm – 11:05pm, Friday 1:05pm – 8:05pm
Salary: to be discussed at application stage
Duration: Permanent
Our client based in Ely is seeking a CNC Operator to join their team. We are seeking candidates to load and run a variety of CNC machines to produce precision in-house components.
You will have a working knowledge of Fanuc based vertical milling machines and experience working to tight tolerances.

Job Duties:
* To load and run a variety of CNC machines to produce precision in-house machined components.
* Ensure machines are scheduled and loaded.
* Unload and hand finish components as required.
* Assist the CNC programmers to produce first-off production components.
* Ensure quality of components
* Perform weekly machine maintenance
What we are looking for:
* A working knowledge of Fanuc based vertical milling machining centres.
* Basic understanding of engineering drawings
* Knowledge of 5-axis milling and wire EDM desirable but not essential
* A good attention to detail
* The ability to work well as part of a team
* Able to identify and resolve problems.
