CNC GrinderBased in Leicester£40,000 basic + overtimeFull Time We are seeking an experienced and professional CNC Grinder to join a leading precision manufacturer in Leicester, East Mids. A CNC grinder is a highly automated machine tool that uses a rotating abrasive wheel to remove microscopic layers of material from a workpiece. Its primary role is to perform precision finishing, achieving micron-level tolerances and mirror-like surface finishes that standard milling machines and lathes cannot provide. Benefits and contract of CNC Grinder: - Upto £40,000 basic salary- Overtime available with premium rates- Pension enrolment- Onsite parking- 28 days holiday- Day work 0600 - 1500 Fri - 0600 - 1100- 39.5 standard week

Key Responsibilities & Skills of CNC Grinder:

• Setting & Operation: Experience with 4/5-axis grinding machines, handling high-mix, low-volume production of precision components.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve machine, tool, or material issues to optimise cycle times.
• Maintenance: Proficient in routine maintenance and preventive care of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Process Improvement: Experienced in reducing set-up times and enhancing process efficiency.

Professional Experience & Attributes of CNC Grinder:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Team-oriented with a, proactive, \"can-do\" attitude.
• 2 years minimum working with CNC machinery.
