Field Sales Representative / Business Development Executive – Manufacturing

Salary: £28,000-£30,000+ DOE & Bonus & Commission

Major Recruitment proud to work alongside a client who are a growing, forward-thinking manufacturing business looking to expand their sales team. As a Sales Representative you will be working closely with directors and colleagues, They pride themselves on developing strong relationships with clients across multi sectors such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, construction, aerospace, and general manufacturing sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Driving sales growth by targeting new and existing clients within your allocated territory.
* Building long-term relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Conducting face-to-face cold calls and business development visits.
* Selling our products and services to a wide range of industries, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fabrication, fasteners, and related sectors.
* Collaborating with directors and team members to identify development needs and implement strategies to improve productivity and sales activity.
* Maintaining accurate records of pipelines, targets, and client activity.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven field sales or business development experience, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
* Understanding of products in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fabrication, or fasteners is highly desirable.
* Experience in merchanting, mid-fix, or site-based sales is a plus.
* Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and manage your own schedule.
* Own car and clean driving licence – mileage expenses covered and car allowance included.
* Strong relationship-building skills with customers and internal teams.
* Evidence of meeting and exceeding sales targets and maintaining pipelines.

* Competitive salary £28,000-£30,000+ DOE, plus bonus and commission (open to negotiation based on experience and performance).
* Flexible, hybrid working – majority field-based but with some office support.
