Responsibilities
* Support the people we support to live a full and happy life, to run their own home and to take part in a range of activities in the community.
* Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices in line with individual support plans.
* Promote health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
* Facilitate social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
* General housekeeping duties including shopping, domestic tasks and elements of personal care.
* Complete a range of records and documents as part of the role.
* The position involves lone working and requires the ability to work on a rota including shift work and weekends.
Requirements
* Experience working within complex care is essential.
* Ability to work lone and on a rota including shifts and weekends.
