We are looking to appoint a Lead Attendance Officer to join our Academy to lead our attendance team in raising the awareness of the attendance of our young people.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and have the ability and experience to lead a team of attendance officers whilst also working with students, staff, parents and outside agencies. You will be able to prioritise and meet deadlines being flexible whilst having the willingness to adapt to change and also be able to demonstrate awareness of the legislation affecting school attendance. You will be required to provide and review attendance data using sims to identify specific areas of concern and be able to implement actions for improvement. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to implement strategy to improve school attendance.

Previous experience of working in a school in attendance and working knowledge of word, excel and SIMS is essential.

A full driving licence is essential.

This post is permanent, 37 hours per week/39 weeks per year - Salary Grade 6 points 15 - 18 actual salary £27.670.73 pa.
