Epsom and St Helier hospitals are seeking a Diabetes and Endocrinology Consultant to join their department. Main duties of the job
This full-time Consultant position in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and General Medicine includes 1 PA for General Medicine on-call duties. A primary responsibility will be leading inpatient diabetes care, including daily reviews and collaboration with the Diabetes Inpatient Specialist nurses and Podiatry team.

Qualifications
* Essential: MB BS or equivalent, MRCP or equivalent, CCT (or to be obtained within 6 months)
* Desirable: Relevant higher degree
Experience
* Essential: Good general endocrinology and diabetes experience
* Desirable: A clinical area of special interest within diabetes or endocrinology
Clinical Governance
* Essential: Understanding of clinical governance principles, experience of clinical audit
* Desirable: A clinical area of special interest within diabetes or endocrinology
