Role Overview
As Technical Services Manager, you will bridge design preconstruction and on-site execution, ensuring technical integrity and practical delivery in high-tech fit-out projects. Your role is to maintain consistency, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead technical oversight from tender to fit-out, ensuring compliance and constructability
* Review architectural, M&E, and infrastructure designs for feasibility and clarity
* Champion health, safety, and technical standards
* Guide on-site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
* Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and mitigate risks
* Implement value engineering to improve efficiency without compromising quality
* Ensure consistency across project documentation and change management
* Participate in post-project reviews for continuous improvement
* Stay updated on new materials, technologies, and sustainability practices
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* 5+ years (preferably 7+) in technical management, especially in interiors fit-out and high-tech environments
* Strong knowledge of M&E installation and collaboration with subcontractors
* Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans
* Proven delivery of projects with high safety, quality, and client satisfaction
* Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
* Attention to detail, risk management, and quality outcomes
Desirable Attributes
* Qualifications such as BEng, BSc, HNC/HND, CSCS, or relevant certifications
* Knowledge of laboratory standards (List-X, cleanrooms, bioscience facilities)
* Experience with digital collaboration and document control systems
