Physiotherapist – £30,000-£44,000

Schedule: 2 days per week, term-time only (37 weeks per year)
Salary: NHS Band 5–6 equivalent, depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, in-person role
About the School
Independent day school for children aged 5–19 with special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia.
The school integrates education and therapy within a supportive, multidisciplinary team that includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech & language therapists.
Key Responsibilities

Provide physiotherapy for pupils aged 7–18, addressing needs outlined in EHCPs and IEPs.

Prepare, deliver, and evaluate therapeutic and educational programmes.
*
Work collaboratively with teachers, OTs, and SaLTs.
*
Record and report pupil progress and contribute to annual reviews.
*
Support recruitment, induction, and retention of therapy staff.
*
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development.
Requirements
*
HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
*
Experience working with children with SEN/SpLD.
*
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
*
Understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and child protection.
*
Confidence using IT for administrative and clinical documentation.
*
Ability to evaluate services and align interventions with research and best practice.
