Admin & Accounts Assistant Role - 30 hours a week

Bourne Furniture is one of the leading suppliers of contract furniture for hotels, restaurants and cruise ships. We are looking for an in-office admin assistant to join our team.

You will be working alongside all departments within Bourne Furniture; however, you will be working alongside the Operations team on a day-to-day basis.

We are looking for someone who is:

* Proficient in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel)

* Confident on the phone

* A willingness to move and adapt within a growing small business

* Fluent in English with a good speaking voice

* A great attention to detail

Your responsibilities will vary on a day-to-day basis however your main roles will be:

* Answering the phone and forwarding onto the relevant person or department

* Photocopying and Scanning documents

* Updating Excel spreadsheets with relevant information

* Processing any post that arrives in the office and distributing to the relevant person or department

* Ordering office supplies and maintaining a good level of stock at all times

* Processing all post that leaves Bourne Furniture – via the franking machine or UPS

* Writing up Purchase Orders

* Creating Delivery and Collection notes for the warehouse team

* Arranging maintenance of office equipment

* Assisting the Operations Department and Directors with any additional administration jobs required

* Inputting invoices onto the accounting software (Xero)

Bourne Furniture is a fast-paced small business therefore you need to be someone who can be flexible with your workload and easily adapt to new situations. They must be very good at using their own initiative.

Experience within an admin role is essential. Experience using Xero would be advantageous but not essential as training can be given

Your job will be working at our Coate, Devizes office (due to our rural location, a reliable mode of transport is required). You will be working Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm but there is some flexibility with this.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
