Overview
Adobe Edinburgh are looking for engineers to join our team, building Adobe's Administration Platform which enables Adobe's business to grow rapidly. As part of the Cloud Technology unit, our mission is to invent the technologies that allow our product leaders’ dreams to come true. We work to solve problems at a scale few other companies face. We build high availability and low maintenance platforms that underpin Adobe customers’ experiences when managing Creative Cloud subscriptions, buying licenses, or adding users to teams. Our UI platform underpins these experiences, and we also build the APIs behind them and a real-time messaging platform foundational to Adobe's $20 billion annual revenues. There are opportunities in Edinburgh to build services and solutions that help deliver Adobe’s vision, and you will work with a wide variety of engineering teams across the company.
The Opportunity
Join a team that builds the platforms and components that power Adobe’s customer experiences.
What You'll Do
As a team member, you will develop new UI components, elevate core end-user-facing experiences, and optimize the performance of our user interface. You will help architect and build the platform that underpins these user experiences in a reusable manner.

* Designing foundational front-end infrastructure to support UI dialogs, marketing promotions templates, etc.
* Building complex user interfaces for composing messages
* Building libraries for tracking events, analysing data, and orchestrating user journeys
* Extending, optimizing, and future-proofing all parts of our front-end stack
* Collaborating with UI/UX designers, Frontend Architects, and Product Managers to design and implement modern, delightful, and intuitive features
What You Can Expect
* A supportive, trusting and transparent working environment
* An opportunity to do things differently with an expectation you will challenge assumptions and offer solutions
* Collaboration across widely distributed teams
* To positively influence the engineers around you through your everyday behaviours
* To work in an agile team that has a strong focus on the value it delivers to Adobe and its customers
* An opportunity to learn new skills

* Knowledge of Web Standards and modern browsers, both at their API level and their internals (JS engines, browser performance, reflow, repaint, shadow DOM, progressive rendering, Service Workers, CDNs, CSS resetting, normalising, SCSS, etc.)
* An enthusiasm to learn any of the above areas if you dont have experience
