About Our Client
Our client is based in Salisbury, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the accountancy team is looking for additional support.
Job Description
3. Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently.
4. Managing bank reconciliations and keeping financial records up to date.
5. Supporting month-end processes, including journal entries and reporting.
6. Handling supplier payments and resolving any queries that come up.
7. Assisting with VAT returns and other compliance tasks.
8. Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring everything is coded correctly.
9. Using Sage daily to manage transactions and generate reports.
10. Supporting with payroll.
11. Working closely with the wider finance team to support day-to-day operations.
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for the Finance Assistant position, you must be able to do most, if not all of the above.
