SEN Support Staff Needed - Secondary Hub in Newham
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm (Full-time & Part-time roles available)
Contract: Whole academic year
We're looking for caring, resilient, and proactive individuals to join our vibrant and growing SEN hub based in a secondary setting in Newham.
The hub caters for 30 pupils, each with unique needs. Many are non-verbal, all are amazing, and nearly every child receives 1:1 support to help them access learning in a way that works for them.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly supportive team committed to inclusion, emotional wellbeing, and high-quality education for young people with a wide range of additional needs.
What You'll Be Doing:
Working closely with individual pupils, supporting their learning, communication, and independence
Helping to create a calm, engaging, and structured environment
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families
Supporting pupils with verbal and non-verbal communication strategies
Providing consistent and nurturing support throughout the school day
What We're Looking For:
Some experience in an SEN setting is ideal, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important
Strong communication skills and the ability to work flexibly as part of a team
