We're currently recruiting for a Payroll Team Leader to join a growing and reputable organisation based in Manchester City Centre. Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Payroll Team Leader will include:
3. Providing efficient support to internal and external stakeholders
4. Resolve payroll queries and ensure compliance with legislation
5. Oversee Payroll operations and related tasks
6. Produce scheduled payroll and service delivery reports
7. Maintain accurate documentation of processes and changes
8. Allocate team workloads and manage performance
9. Conduct 1:1s, reviews, and support team development
10. Monitor SLA adherence and ensure service quality
11. Collaborate across departments and support onboarding
12. Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for system changes
13. Identify and implement process improvements
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Team Leader will have:
14. Experience running large payroll processes.
15. Extensive payroll operations experience, ideally using Oracle Payroll.
16. Proven leadership in managing and developing teams.
17. Strong communicator, adaptable to various audiences.
18. Well-organised with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
19. Solid understanding of payroll legislation and compliance.
20. Proactive with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
What's on Offer
21. A salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on experience.
22. Hybrid working - 3 days remote and 2 days office based per week reducing to 4 days remote and 1 day per week office based after probation.
