\nAs a Housing Litigation Lawyer, you will provide expert legal advice and representation on a wide range of housing-related matters. This is a varied and challenging role where you'll work closely with housing officers, enforcement teams, and external counsel to deliver cost-effective solutions.
\nKey Responsibilities:

* Conduct and manage housing litigation, including possession proceedings, injunctions, and anti-social behaviour cases.
\n\t
* Draft pleadings, witness statements, and represent the authority in county courts and tribunals.
\n\t
* Advise on tenancy enforcement, homelessness decisions, allocations, and statutory compliance.
\n\t
* Handle disrepair claims and liaise with internal housing teams to resolve issues efficiently.

* Negotiate settlements and explore alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
