Overview

Position Overview:

As the SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) Manager, you will not only ensure that our operations are conducted in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner, but you will also serve as an ambassador for the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Committee. You will be a visible champion for OUTCO’s commitment to sustainability and ethical governance, influencing at all levels to promote sustainable operations, ethical decision-making, and continuous improvement in safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.

You will play a critical role in embedding these principles into our operational practices and company culture, helping to position OUTCO as a leader in both SHEQ and ESG performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, implement, and maintain SHEQ management systems in line with industry standards and legislation.
* Serve as a key ambassador for the ESG Committee, ensuring OUTCO’s environmental, social, and governance commitments are fully integrated into operations.
* Lead health, safety, environmental, and quality audits and assessments.
* Provide advice and guidance to senior management and staff on SHEQ and ESG-related matters.
* Promote sustainable operations through ethical decision-making, influencing key stakeholders at all levels of the business.
* Monitor compliance with legal and company-specific safety, quality, and ESG standards.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
* Lead SHEQ and ESG training and awareness programs across all levels of the business.
* Investigate accidents and incidents, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
* Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and innovation within the company.

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience in a SHEQ management role, ideally within construction, civil engineering, or related industries.
* Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations, along with ESG principles.
* NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent health and safety qualifications.
* Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and investigations.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
