Are you a KS2 Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to gain valuable classroom experience?
Due to high demand, we are recruiting KS2 ECTs to work in primary schools across Wallasey, with immediate starts available.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, gain experience across upper and lower KS2, and secure regular work in supportive school settings.
The Role:
1. Teaching within KS2 classes (Year 3–6)
2. Delivering engaging, structured lessons
3. Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
4. Supporting pupils’ academic progress and development
We’re Looking For:
5. ECTs with (or working towards) QTS
6. Strong classroom presence and behaviour management
7. Good curriculum knowledge across KS2
8. Adaptable, reliable and proactive approach
9. SEND experience beneficial but not essential

Job Specification
Your role as a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Primary Teacher in the age group of your speciality will be varied and at times challenging. But we doubt you’ll find a more satisfying career where your main objectives will be to develop the children and prepare them for the next stage.
As a Primary School Key Stage 2 Teacher you’ll be expected to:
10. Teach all areas of the school curriculum
11. Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
12. Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
13. Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
14. Maintain discipline
15. Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
16. Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
17. Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
18. Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
