I'm currently working for a growing Fresh Produce business based in Kent which are looking for an Assistant Packhouse Manager. They are supplying a variety of vegetables and Herbs to some of the UK's leading retailers.

About the role
You will be joining the Packhouse manager with the main focus on driving Operational Excellence, promoting a culture of H&S and supporting the Packhouse manager in the day-to-day running of the site, but also the long-term strategy.
There will be a key drive in manager OEE on site to ensure that the machines the company has invested in are being used to their maximum capacity so management experience in a Produce environment will be key.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience within Packhouse or Production, preferably with experience with fresh produce
* You must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to identify and solve problems.
* It is also essential that you have awareness of Health & Safety, Food Safety & BRC regulations
* With the business and environment being incredibly busy throughout most of the year, flexibility is key for this role and you must be willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in.
