Join to apply for the Early Years Apprentice role at TEDDY BEAR NURSERY LIMITED. Teddybear Nursery Ltd provides excellent childcare for children aged 0-5 years, with a separate baby unit for children under 2 years old. A warm and friendly home-from-home setting, recently rated good at Ofsted. This could potentially lead to a full-time position once the apprenticeship is completed.
Work-based training is provided, working towards the qualification in partnership with Rochdale training.
Responsibilities
* Learn knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and how to apply it in practice.
* Work within a team, maintain positive relationships and develop productive teamwork.
* Listen to advice/constructive criticism from peers/management and act upon it.
* Be aware of Health and Safety within the nursery and report hazards for risk assessments.
* Be supportive and diplomatic in your approach towards parents and children.
* Commit to Teddy Bears Day Nursery’s equal opportunities policy.
* Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of the children.
* Attend occasional staff meetings outside of working hours (time will be compensated).
* Continue with training to aid both the nursery and personal development.
* Commit to completing relevant training.
Qualifications and requirements
* Willingness to participate in training and complete a relevant apprenticeship.
* Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
