Pulse Nursing are offering a variety of day shifts for experienced District Nurses in Bristol. Our Community Nurses provide care to clients with a variety of needs within their home environment throughout the community.
Community and district Nurses enable people across Bristol to pursue happy and healthy lives. They prevent extra pressure on the NHS hospitals by freeing up beds and looking after patients at their home. This rewarding role puts the patients and community at the heart of everything our Community Nurses do.
Day shifts available from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday-Friday with hourly pay rates from £22.00 – £34.60
Community Nurse responsibilities includes:
1. Providing basic care such as checking temperature, blood pressure and breathing
2. Changing catheters as required
3. Diabetes Care
4. Medicine management
5. Compliant with documentation
6. Wound management & symptom control
7. Visiting a variety of clients, caring for their needs in timely manner.
Community Nurse Role Requirements:
8. Registered nurse with a current NMC pin
9. A minimum 6 Months NHS experience within the last 2 years
10. In date Driving license with use of own car
11. Meet our Framework Compliance requirement (we will guide you through this)
12. We can also upskill you for Community Nursing Roles. Experience working in A&E and ITU Unit as well as Medical and Surgical nurses that want to a change and work in the community can apply
