We are actively recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for an industrial project in the Midlands.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5yrs experience post qualification with a relevant QS degree. Ideally you will have worked with a recognised contractor on industrial or pharma projects with a good knowledge of Mechanical packages an advantage.
Duties will include
* Commercial management and monitoring of mechanical sub contract packages
* Handling valuations, variations, forecasts and cost reporting.
* Managing subbie procurement, payments and variations.
* Supporting the Senior Commercial Manager with commercial strategy and reporting
* Constant communication and liaising with site team on extra works, program delays, material cost fluctuations and anything affecting commercial performance.
