The Company An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Services Manager to join a well-established main contractor on a flagship residential development in Acton. The scheme comprises 200 high-specification apartments, including an on-site energy centre, with a substantial £17m MEP value. This is a true cradle-to-grave role, offering full ownership of MEP delivery from preconstruction through to commissioning and final handover. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating design, construction, and commercial functions while driving exceptional standards of quality, safety, and programme performance. The Role * Lead the full MEP delivery across the project lifecycle, from preconstruction and design coordination through installation, commissioning, and handover * Work collaboratively with internal teams and the appointed MEP subcontractor to achieve programme, quality, and commercial objectives * Manage MEP design integration with architectural and structural packages * Chair and lead MEP progress meetings and coordination workshops * Control the issue and management of technical information in line with construction requirements * Ensure full compliance with HSE standards and implement robust QA and inspection processes * Support the commercial team with package management, forecasting, and cost reporting * Coordinate OFCI (Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed) equipment through procurement, installation, and commissioning * Liaise with statutory authorities and stakeholders to secure approvals, completion, and final sign-off What We’re Looking For * Proven experience delivering MEP services on large-scale residential or mixed-use developments * Track record managing MEP packages valued at £15m * Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems * Experience working in a main contractor, cradle-to-grave delivery environment * Confident leading multi-disciplinary coordination and managing technical and programme risk * Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail * Electrical bias advantageous, though not essential * Comfortable operating in live construction environments with complex logistics * Solid understanding of commissioning, handover, and project close-out processes * Minimum 10 years’ UK construction experience in a comparable role What’s on Offer * Salary up to £95,000 plus car allowance, travel expenses, and comprehensive benefits package * Opportunity to deliver a high-profile, career-defining project * Supportive and collaborative working environment with strong senior leadership If you’re a Building Services Manager seeking your next major challenge and want to be part of a professional, delivery-focused team, we’d love to hear from you
