A talented Pastry Chef is required for this 4 star luxury Hotel with an award winning 1 Rosette Restaurant. The hotel has numerous food outlets including all year round wedding and conference facilities, award winning Restaurant and a high number of afternoon teas.
As Head Pastry Chef your role will involve preparing and cooking all pastry and dessert products for all areas of the hotel - 1 Rosette Restaurants, weddings, events and afternoon tea offerings. You work closely with the Exec Chef to ensure the highest of standards are met. Excellent chance to be part of something special and be involved with all menus.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As Head Pastry Chef you will be in charge of the Pastry department so your role will include menu design and development plus staff training. Your role will involve producing all Pastry products for all areas of the Hotel - Restaurant, conference and banquet, room service and afternoon teas. You will work with 1/2 other chefs so managing the team and ensuring the standards are kept.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Must have experience in a fresh produce and be able to work to a high standard. The successful candidate must have the broad level of skills and knowledge that allows you to be able to work on all sections without supervision. Experience in a similar establishment is essential. A commitment and passion for food is certainly required.
