Job Title: Network Specialist

NRG are looking to engage experienced Network & Infrastructure professionals with strong 3rd line capability. This role sits at the heart of the IT environment and will play a key role in strengthening network integrity, identity management, and overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 3rd line support across network, infrastructure and cloud platforms
Design, maintain and secure LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs and wireless networks
Administer Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Entra ID
Monitor performance, backups and system health
Lead patching, vulnerability remediation and security improvements
Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Contribute to documentation, governance and security policy development
Mentor junior IT team members and support knowledge transfer
Experience Required:
Extensive experience in a network or infrastructure role
Strong experience with Cisco or Meraki networking
Solid understanding of AD, Azure identity services and hybrid environments
Exposure to VMware and backup solutions (e.g. Veeam)
Security-focused mindset (MDR / EDR exposure advantageous)
Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
