 
        
        Media Organisation seeks an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role would suit a "hands on" individual is able to multi-task and prioritise their workload. The Accounts Assistant would be diligent, a strong communicator and problem solver.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include:
 1. Processing monthly journals, accruals, and prepayments.
 2. Assisting with the process of monthly financial reporting which includes, profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow.
 3. Assisting with Statutory audit
 4. Assisting with preparation of P11Ds
 5. Performing reconciliations to seek resolution to accounting errors or inaccuracies
 6. Processing purchase invoices and sales invoices and responsibility over AP and AR ledgers
 7. Processing credit cards transactions and employee expense claims
 8. Processing bank payments and receipts, preparing bank reconciliation.
 9. Processing intercompany recharges
 10. Payments to suppliers
 11. Completing VAT returns
 12. Assisting Head of Finance with ad hoc tasks
Requirements for the Accounts Assistant include:
 13. AAT or equivalent qualification
 14. Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office- especially Excel
 15. Media/production sector experience is advantageous however not essential.
 16. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
