Overview
Permanent contract, 36.75 hours per week. Full‑time equivalent £27,709.50 per annum, inclusive of £0.27 per hour, store‑specific location allowance, plus pension and 6.6 weeks holiday. Location: B&Q TradePoint Bedford.
What's the job?
Your role as a Shift Lead is pivotal in ensuring a safe working and shopping environment. You are the person who will oversee your shift to cultivate a great experience for both colleagues and customers daily. Your responsibilities include:
* Be the heartbeat of the store day‑to‑day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
* Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to ’make every customer count’ throughout your shift.
* Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
* Make sure our stores are safe at all times.
