As the Human Resource Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, focusing on developing business strategies and fostering organizational growth through HR practices. Your responsibilities will include working on special projects, setting goals, applying design thinking, conducting data analysis, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws. Reporting directly to the Senior HRBP Aerospace, Global Operations, you will support the Aerospace Transparencies Plant in Huntsville, Alabama, by providing HR guidance, facilitating communication, and implementing organizational development and change management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
2. Facilitate effective communication between employees and supervisors across departments, collaborating with Centers of Excellence (COE) to resolve employee questions swiftly and fairly. Act as a resource for HR-related inquiries.
3. Partner with site leaders to design and implement organizational structures and processes aligned with growth and cost management goals, including providing input on compensation structures.
4. Contribute to the development and administration of programs that maintain a union-free environment, balancing organizational and employee needs.
5. Utilize data and insights to guide decision-making and identify trends.
6. Support the implementation of organizational development and change management programs.
7. Work with managers and supervisors to administer and execute plant-wide and company-wide programs, such as reward and recognition initiatives, annual events, and charitable activities.
8. Address pay-related issues within the group, coordinating with TFS, Payroll, and other teams for resolution.
9. Engage with employees to understand their roles and responsibilities, fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field is required.
* Minimum of 5 years of proven HR experience (e.g., Generalist, Manager, HRBP, or Compensation COE).
* Ability to work flexible shifts to support off-shift employees.
* SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
* Experience with Workday HRIS.
