Position Overview: Give first class customer service and provide a welcoming atmosphere in a clean, inspiring environment to shop in. Joining a fast-paced retail sales team to support on a seasonal basis our busier months of the year.
To provide an efficient, memorable shopping experience to all our customers, guests, and visitors UK and International.
To share product knowledge, pricing, using upselling and add on skills in line with training provided using your personality to make their experience unique.
Key Responsibilities:
· Give amazing first-class customer service to all customers and visitors.
· Fantastic communication skills
· Capable of interpreting customers' words and showing them products that meet their needs.
· Through buddying training process- learn Epos system to become accomplished user with high standard of accuracy
· Interest in building product knowledge. A knowledge of high-quality products and a love of shopping is not an essential but would be a benefit.
· Through following our training program- to share the History of Gretna Green with our customers and visitors and "sell" the different areas of the business including Hotels
· Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
· Ability to adapt and react to customer demographic and volume.
· Understand the stock rotation/ date checking system for Food products and demonstrate use of completion of relevant forms.
· Ability to follow processes and procedures as set by the company.
· General Housekeeping skills
· Flexibility over 7-day schedules
Qualifications and Skills:
· 1+ years' retail sales experience preferred.
· Basic numeration skills
· Basic IT skills
· Basic H&S knowledge- training will be provided.
· High-energy, friendly personality
· Outstanding customer care skills
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills
· Work well individually as well as in a team
· Commercial awareness and drive for increasing sales through upselling
£12.60 per hour for over 18 and £10.00 for Under 18
