As SEN Teacher for The Canopy, you will be central to delivering personalised, evidence-based teaching tailored to autistic pupils with complex needs.
You will:
Plan and deliver individual and small group lessons using autism-informed approaches that promote communication, regulation, and engagement
Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and specialist professionals to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
Contribute to the development and review of EHCP targets and individual learning plans to ensure every pupil's progress and well-being
Support pupils' inclusion in wider school activities and maintain strong home-school partnerships
Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to assessment and reporting processes
Engage in ongoing professional development to deepen your expertise and share best practice
