You possess technical knowledge of Environmental Health and Licensing legislation, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and handle complex issues. What the Job Involves As a Senior Food Safety Officer, your role involves protecting and enhancing the health and wellbeing of residents, workers, and visitors. You will provide technical services, investigate food safety concerns, and enforce relevant regulations. Responsibilities include inspecting food premises for compliance, providing advice and training, conducting investigations into notifiable diseases, and taking enforcement action when necessary. You will also handle data management, report on operational activities, and maintain professional standards within the Council's Consumer and Public Protection Department.
