Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of Glencar for a Senior Engineer to join their project team in Grimsby. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected main contractor delivering major industrial and commercial projects across the UK. The position offers a salary of £60,000£65,000 per annum plus a full package.
As a Senior Engineer, you will take ownership of engineering delivery on site, ensuring all works are completed safely, accurately, and in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Technical Duties
* Lead engineering activities on site, including setting out and technical oversight.
* Manage and check design information, drawings, and specifications.
* Oversee temporary works, permits, ITPs, and QA compliance.
* Produce accurate records, as-builts, check sheets and technical reports.
Quality Assurance
* Implement and manage ITPs and quality processes.
* Ensure all works are delivered to Glencar standards and client expectations.
Coordination & Communication
* Work closely with project managers, site managers, subcontractors, and design teams.
