Due to continuous growth, Linney Display is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cardboard Engineer to join our award-winning team. The ideal candidate might come from a cardboard engineering, packaging, structural design, or product design background.
We are seeking a problem solver who enjoys challenges and works well within a diverse team to bring highly creative concepts to final products and displays.
We design semi-permanent displays and packaging concepts for well-known global and high street brands. Examples of our work can be seen here:

Candidates should have experience with engineering software such as Artios CAD, AutoCAD, Kasemake, Impact, or similar. We aim to balance creativity with practicality, developing displays that are innovative, eye-catching, cost-effective, and compliant with brand and retailer guidelines. Our culture values teamwork, and you will collaborate with a diverse team including 3D Designers, Graphic Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers.
As a Cardboard/Structural Designer, your responsibilities will include:
* Creating award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides.
* Understanding manufacturing processes and considering value engineering and manufacturing efficiencies.
* Conducting weight testing and experimenting with new structures, prototypes, and materials.
* Communicating effectively with designers and sales teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and retail guidelines.
* Handling a range of projects from simple shelf trays to complex free-standing displays and event setups.
* Adapting to a fast-paced studio environment and managing multiple projects efficiently.
* Challenging conventions and pushing creative boundaries.
