The successful Account Manager should have a thorough understanding of the required media and communication skills and who is fully in control of the media tools available to create the required media coverage, as well as social, digital and marketing communications outputs and outcomes.
The role should be to carry out the execution of the strategies and activities as detailed by their account directors, ensuring that programmes and objectives are being adheredto, and that their accounts are well organised. This is a move into a proactive role. Thinking ahead, planning ahead and understanding that researching and presenting new opportunities for the client is part of the day to day.
