Contracts Manager – Demolition

We are a well-established demolition contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the North East and wider UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager with a proven background in demolition projects to join our Newcastle-based team.
The Role
You will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple demolition contracts from pre-start through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

Managing multiple demolition projects concurrently
*
Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
*
Ensuring full compliance with CDM Regulations, HSE standards, and company procedures
*
Preparing and managing programmes, budgets, and cost reports
*
Liaising with clients, local authorities, consultants, and internal teams
*
Reviewing RAMS, method statements, and demolition sequencing
*
Monitoring progress and resolving technical or commercial issues
*
Attending site and client meetings as required
About You
*
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or Senior Project Manager) within the demolition sector
*
Strong knowledge of demolition methods, temporary works, and enabling works
*
Excellent understanding of health & safety legislation
*
Commercially astute with strong planning and organisational skills
*
Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid (preferred)
*
Full UK driving licence
