Role We’re looking for a structured, insight-driven product thinker to join us as a Product Manager. In this pivotal role, you will bring discipline, customer empathy, and outcome-focus to our product development process. You will ensure that every initiative is grounded in real user needs, our roadmap stays clear and current, and the team remains aligned and inspired. You’ll be the voice of our users—capturing insights, validating value, and translating findings into meaningful product decisions. From prioritising what gets built to understanding how our products are performing post-launch, you will bring rigour and focus to everything we do. Read more about Grid Edge: https://gridedge.ai/ What You Will Do (Key Accountabilities): Own our product process, from idea to release, ensuring every step adds value and keeps us aligned. You will ensure the value delivered is tangible. Maintain roadmap clarity, aligning priorities across teams and ensuring visible, measurable progress/ Accountable for the translation of product strategy into a clear, actionable and prioritised six month technical roadmap. Lead discovery efforts, interviewing customers, facilitating external and internal workshops, and synthesising insights and feedback into common user problems, translating user needs and business objectives into clear and actionable product requirements. Prioritise for value, prioritising features and initiatives for development based on strategic value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and business goals. Making difficult trade-off decisions to proactive manage the product backlog. Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Definition, determining the smallest set of features that can deliver value to users and test core hypotheses, enabling rapid learning and iteration. Champion customer insight, keeping our team close to users, identify their problems, and validate value propositions early and at each stage of the process. Develop a deep understanding of user needs, pain points, and behaviours through various methods like user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis. The Product Manager acts as the voice of the customer within Grid Edge. Launch & adoption strategy, develop and execute effective launch strategies, ensuring a successful product launch and adoption that delivers value to our customers. Drive delivery discipline, motivating Agile teams to work on the highest-priority items and continuously ship quality solutions built to specifications with validated value at every step. Ensure clear communication, making product direction, trade-offs, and progress transparent to stakeholders at all levels. Acting as the central hub of communication for the product, ensuring our colleagues and customers can understand the product and new features. Continuously improve product operations, based on data, user feedback, and market changes, ensuring the product remains competitive and valuable, reducing administrative drag and empowering the team to focus on outcomes. Track product performance, use data and feature success metrics to inform decisions and course correct or revisit as needed, identifying areas for improvement, and informing future iterations. Represent the product internally and externally including customer demos, and events. Regulatory & compliance, stay up-to-date on energy regulations to ensure product best fit today and in the future. How You Will Measure Success Total Carbon & Costs Saved by our customers Annual Recurring Revenue Revenue Metrics including ARR and ARPA Product Engagement including CSAT, Activate Users, Bounce Rate, and TTV Delivery Metrics including Time to Market and Feature adoption rate Must Haves Proven experience in product operations, product discovery, or product management roles with strong process ownership. 8 years of product experience with a bias towards product management Skilled researcher and interviewer, confident extracting real user needs and turning them into product opportunities. Strong facilitator with experience running workshops, prioritisation sessions, and customer co-creation activities. Proficient in tools like Jira, Productboard, Figma, and Datadog for managing roadmaps, features, design, insights, and performance. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights. Clear, confident communicator who thrives on keeping people aligned and informed. Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented — naturally brings structure and clarity to ambiguity. Experience working in an Agile environment, with a strong bias towards shipping and learning. Nice to Have Experience in the energy, proptech, or the built environment sector. Familiarity with user research methods and usability testing. Knowledge of customer journey mapping, service design, and discovery frameworks. Exposure to high-growth or scale-up environments. Passion for sustainability and using technology to combat climate change. What you get: Up to £80k FTE annual salary, dependant on experience.
